A Fresh Start

Sometimes we just need to start fresh to try an accomplish a goal that we have set. My goal is to get back to my happy weight. This may sound silly but I went back to WW today to face the music since I did not want to have another 10 lbs to take off in addition to the 35 (gulp) that I have put on over the past year. That is such a horrible number and so unhealthy to have gained that much in the past year. it was a perfect time to go back since they have changed the program a bit so I got some new info, a new tracker, a new point calculator. I am going to do this.

This morning I was planning on getting up early but that didnt happen so I ended up going for my run after dropping the little man off at school. I did 4K this morning. I changed the route a bit and my run felt pretty awesome. I need to get out there and run at least 5x/week. I need to get back to the point that I was at with my running. Still not sure about doing the races in march. I will train away and make that decision around the 3rd week of Feb.

I am running out of soup that I have in the freezer for my lunches so after c-mas I will have to go through my recipe books and make a whole bunch of different ones on my days off :) I love soup I think that I could always eat soup for my lunches. I will make chili too since it can come in handy for a supper too, just add a sweet potato with it.

Well I have a meeting in a few minutes so that is all for now. I hope to have a good result at my WI next week. I probably will go thurs or fri of next week :)

A new month

Wow, I can't believe it is december 1st. While I was at work last night I realized that it is only 24 days until c-mas and i have so much I need to do on my days off which aren't to many this coming week. I will be so happy when my next full set of work is done since I won't have any more then 2 days off with today being a sleep day until next thursday. It was all worth it though to have made those switches so I just have to suck it up and plug through the next week.

I had told myself that starting on the 28th I was going to kick the healthy lifestyle back into high gear which I have done. I know that it is a few days but I have been doing well with the eating even though I worked 3 nights (usually get the munchies on nights). I am kind of glad about all the working I am doing in the 2 week period as it does help with eating healthy. I have been doing good with exercise too. On mon I did the at home mini bootcamp, tues ran 5K, wed ran 4K with 1 hill, today I ran 5K and tomorrow I will do another at home bootcamp. I have no more bootcamp sessions and not sure if I will sign up again as I have 2 races in march and need to really focus on the training for that. I really don't think that I will sign up. I know the exercises and have tons of e-mails with all the examples of mini bootcamps. I do need to sit down and do a schedule for training for these 2 races coming up.

For supper tonight I am going to have chili on a sweet potato. I will probably wait until 7 for that as I had some visalus after I picked up the boys.

Well I must get started on some laundry. I have to do some cleaning tomorrow so I need to really limit my blog reading time :)
