My name is Rebekah and I am someone who has stuggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was always trying "diets" and starting exercise programs but never stuck to it for very long.
In Sept 2009 I joined weight watchers for the...actually I don't know how many times I have joined but with a much different mindset. I knew that this time I was going to reach a healthy weight. I was feeling so misserable both physically and mentally and my poor family could feel the effects of that.
The heaviest weight that I can remember was when I came back from Vegas is Oct 2008 and the scale read 213.
This picutre was taken the day that I rejoined weight watchers for what I deemed the last time I would ever have to join. My start weight with them was 204.8
I would wake up early in the morning and head to the gym and be done more workout before my husband had to leave for work. I counted my pts and drank a lot of water. I did have my ups and downs but still found my way back fast to the program which is different then before as I usually would continue with the bad habits.
This picutre was taken in October 2009 while we were in Ottawa. I was in the 180's when this picture was taken.
This picutre was taken on the day of my husbands work c-mas party. I was so happy, I broke the 180's. I was 179.6 lbs :)
I was in the 160's in this picture towards the end of Feb 2010.
Here I am after just finishing my second 5K race in March 2010. I had lost 50 lbs by this point. I was so happy that I was able to run the entire race in just over 30 min. You can read more about my beginnings with running in the fitness section of this blog.
The day after i reached my goal weight with WW. 146 lbs. I don't have a full body shot but you can see the huge difference in my face.
This picutre was taken a couple of days after I received Lifetime membership with weight watchers after 6 weeks of maintaining my weight. 145.6 I had to be within 2 lbs of the goal I had chosen.
At a wedding in June with my husband. I had my monthly WI at WW earlier that week 140.6 I knew what my personal goal weight was and heading in the right direction.
Here I am in July 2010. I entered the 130's in this month. Feeling great.
This was in August. I had just finished my 1st ever 1/2 marathon in Saint John, NB I did it in 2 hrs 11 min I felt amazing after this race and very happy with my accomplishments. I was 132.8 lbs.
Here I am in Vegas in Sept 2010. I was the same weight that I was in August. Had a great trip and was happy with this dress find. It was an extra small :)
Now we are entering 2011 and I have put on some weight (about 20 lbs) and my goal for this year and for the rest of my life is to find the balance between healthy eating and an active lifestyle.
