I am thinking of starting a new blog for 2014. It is going to be about my journey to becoming clean in 2014. I need to do this for my sanity and for my family. I am just so miserable when I don't eat healthy and when I don't exercise everyday. I am training for 2 races in March which hopefully will help with the running part of things. I do need to start doing the mini bootcamps again. I need to do this at least 3x/week. I can do it in my own house which should not be hard.
I really need to get my shit together too when it comes to finances and my house. We will be having a house cleaner come in 1/week to do some basic cleaning (wash floors, clean bathroom, vacuum etc). This person is helping us out with our son as he is changing schools so this way she does that and cleans my house (will make some money from doing both). It actually will be nice to have someone do this for me and maybe overall I will keep my house much more tidy then it has been.
I know that we need to purge too in this house. We need to just take a day or too and just do it. We have so much stuff in this house that we don't use that I don't get why we are keeping it. I am pretty sure that we will participate in the town wide yard sale this year. We have quite a few toys that I would like to get rid of.
I have a team dinner tonight at the Keg. I have a dd so I will enjoy a couple of glasses of wine :)

New Year
I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. Yesterday I did ok getting back on track. I wasn't perfect but I did ok. I am hoping for a better day today. I have a couple of appts today which kind of ruined my day in a way. The 1st apt is waxing though and I must admit I am always a happy girl when this is done :)
I need to make sure to get a couple of meals done for my 2 days at work. Really all I need to figure out is what to have for my lunches. Breakfast and supper are pretty easy.
not much else to report. My hamstring is pretty sore so I am hoping my run tomorrow will be ok. I will do my best to get up early to run. I actually loved running yesterday morning really early. It is nice to have it done.

ENOUGH with the excuses
once again I have not been doing very good with getting myself on track. when I follow a healthy diet I feel amazing, when I don't I feel awful. Why would one do something that makes them feel awful. It does not make any sense to me at all.
I am going to do my best to stay on track for the remainder of December and start the new year off at a healthier weight then I am right now. Plus I am going to start training for my half marathon and 30K race in March. Can't put off the exercise and eating healthy any longer.
Today started off good with an 11K run. Wasn't done at a time I would have liked but I am happy to say that I actually did 11K. On Saturday I want to get 14K in. I do have that 10 miler on boxing day and want to be somewhat prepared for it.
