Reflections on February

So things had been going great for the first couple of weeks of february and then on the 20th I was rear ended on my way home from work.  This has led to a very stiff and sore neck and upper back.  I have been trying to stay active but but I think for the first few days I did too much and now it gets more intense with very little activity.  I tried to go back to work on thursday but only lasted for a couple of hours and had to come home.  On friday I spent a few hours at urgent care and ended up getting some pain meds.  Have a physio appt and family dr appt on tuesday.  I was going to do some hot yoga today but went for a walk which made things stiffen right up so I cancelled my yoga for today and tomorrow until i get looked at again.

Needless to say this has really put a halt on my working out which is not fun.  I am still doing ok with my eating though which is good since normally I would have given up by now and had some crappy food.  I weighed myself yesterday and was up 0.2 lbs.  My first gain in 8 weeks.  I am actually not upset by this because I though it was going to be more of a gain.  I just need to keep it clean in the kitchen and do some walking and then hopefully I will get some answers on tuesday as to what type of activities I can do.  How am I supposed to work a 12 hr shift if I can't even do a workout for an hour.

Well I need to do some menu planning for the upcoming week and make a grocery list.
It is not fun being injured but I know it could be worse and I will take a few weeks over a more serious issue.
