I have 16 days to do my best with clean eating and exercise before heading to New Orleans. I want to feel good for my trip and I know that a healthy lifestyle will help me feel good. I should be able to get 5 strength training classes in and the rest will be running/walking. I am going to follow the couch to 5K program as I feel it would be my best bet to building up my endurance for running again (and I need to not let it slip again). I am getting older and I so do not want to spend the rest of my life struggling with begin unhealthy. I really need to set a better example for my little man too. I hear him and see him do so many things that I do and I don't want that for him!!!!
I have the tools and knowledge to lead a healthy lifestyle and I just need the will power. I need to do this for myself!
The cleanse that I was doing (but didn't last the 4 weeks) did teach me a lot of things and I now know of yummy snacks to have which are healthy and actually filling (one of my fave's from the cleanse that I can see myself using more often is the 1/2 avocado with hemp hearts and pinch of sea salt on a rice cake….so good).
Meal planning and prep will be key in me having success with this and tracking what I eat. I am hoping to be in a certain weight range come the new year so here we go!!
