I am not sure exactly what happened this week but I am doing a restart of my week 1 of the SFL cleanse. I just lost my focus. I think it may have been because I was having some issues with a lump on the roof of my mouth. I am pretty sure it is an abcess. For about 4 days it was so painful. I went to the dentist on Monday morning and he put me on antibiotics and I have another appt with him tomorrow. I need to stop focusing on the fact that I did not do well and make up for it by getting back on track. This means plan my weekly menu with the meal ideas on the list and preparing them in advance.
I had not run for 5 days either. I can't remember the last time I went that long without running. I did 4k today and it was hard. I need to get my act together since I am doing a 10 mile race on Dec 26th. I MUST run 10K on Saturday!!!!!!
I can't believe that Christmas is almost here. I need to start making lists of cmas presents and do some deep house cleaning. I actually would like to have people over during the holidays this year which might happen since I have 5 days off between cmas and new years.
well I should be going now. I need to get that menu made and a grocery list done up.

Day 3
So today is day 3 of starting the 3 month simply for life program. So far I am enjoying it. I know that once I start week 2 I hope to have my lunch and supper meals prepped in advance. Right now I am making a potato and spinach salad which should be interesting. I hope that I like it. If not there are other options that I can try for week 2.
On the exercise front I have done 3 runs in a row. 6K, 4K and 5K. Tomorrow I am hoping to do a mini bootcamp workout before going to work. I need to add something like this to my workouts. I am so determined to get this weight off. I want to have no issues with going to stores and buying clothes, and to be able to wear some of the things I wore when I lost all the weight before.
The scale is heading in the right direction. I will try not to weight myself again until Monday when I have complete 1 full week of the program.
Well I must go shower and pick up a few things at the grocery store to finish my lunch.

Simply for Life Day #1
So last year I had bought a 6 month program from simply for life. I followed it off and on so when I saw they were offering a 3 month program I jumped on it. I need a jump start in my weight loss and I know when I followed the program pretty good for the first 3 weeks I had great success. So today is day #1 of starting this program. I did a 6K run as well since I need to be ready for my 10 mile race on boxing day :) I have just under 40 lbs to lose and I am determined to reach this goal. I need to stop the binge eating (so not good for me and the food I eat doing these binges are just crap...plus I need to set a better example for my son).
I just go back from a trip to LA/Vegas. I ate not too bad on the trip but lots of drinks were consumed. I didn't gain any weight though which is a bonus!! Last year when I got back I had put on over 5 lbs I think.
As part of this program I do a 3 week cleanse which is supposed to help reduce any cravings that I might have. I love that it basically tells you what to eat which will be very helpful for me. The other thing that I will need to do is prepare my meals in advance so I just need to reheat. I tend to nibble if I don't have my meals already made.
I will try to keep my blog updated weekly with my results.
