Day 3

Wow I am on day 3 of eating ok.  I am actually quite proud of how I have done.  I made an awesome soup yesterday (well the little sips I took to see what it tasted like…my first actually serving will be for lunch).  I really do love making soups/chilli.  It takes a lot of prep work but the end result is usually so worth it.

Yesterday when I went for my walk I did a little bit of running which felt great.  I am going to just walk today (going for my 6K in about 45 min…breakfast needs to digest first).  I work days the next 3 days and i am going to try to get up and go for a 3K run each of those days.  I signed up for a race at the end of march of next year and I really want to train for it as my endurance has dwindled huge, but my love for running has not.

I can't believe that in 4 weeks we will be leaving on our cruise.  I am so needing a break from things around here.  I think a family vacation will be great and something that we all need.  My goal is to have this house in pretty good order before we leave.  I have 6 days off after this set at work and I really need to buckle down and take full advantage of those days off and get things done around the house (organizing, cleaning the fridge etc.).

Today I need to get laundry done and make sure I have my meals ready for my 3 days (as not being prepared last week threw me off my plan for a couple of days).  I need to take my eating seriously so that my training for this race will go better.  Good fuel in my body helps me in so many ways.

Well as many people are thankful it is friday as they have the weekend off, it means that I am going to work tomorrow.  Oh well, the life of a shift worker :)
