I was having that debate with myself about doing a run today and in the end I did my scheduled 7K run as part of my half marathon training program. I was going to do it tomorrow but they are calling for a lot of snow tonight and tomorrow so I though why not get it out of the way and I am so happy I did. I have been feeling a bit blue about how I have let myself get so out of shape again and my runs have been really hard. I am not saying this one was not hard but I actually smiled at myself and said "that was awesome" when I was in my room after the run. Sometimes you need to do that self affirmation.
The last 2 days I have been snacking in the evenings which I need to stop. I had some trail mix last night. I think that there must have been a lot of sodium in it as I was feeling really bloated this morning. I have had 2L of water so far and I don't have that feeling any more which is great.
Well I am going to start getting things ready for supper. I am going to be a hockey mom tonight as the husband is away. Wish me luck.
