Feeling Good...

Since Jan 1st I have been doing not bad at all when it comes to nutrition and exercise.  I have done 2 lean and fit classes and to strength training classes this week.  It feels so good to have done that many workouts.  My knee is feeling it a bit but I know that if I get this extra weight off it will help my joints big time so I will push through it (but in a smart way).  Hopefully my treadmill comes in today.  i want to start the running program that I found on Pinterest.  I know that running won't be great for my knee (but it helps with the weight loss) and I won't do long distances.  My goal is to slowly build up to 5K and then eventually 10K and won't do any more then 10K (depending on how the knee feels).

I am doing ok with the nutrition part of the lean and fit program (well I am only on day 2 but I don't have any cravings and not super hungry which is nice).  I just need to make sure I find some fun and good tasting meal ideas that find the principle of having a protein, carb and fat with each meal.

I hope this motivation will keep up (the amount of money I am spending and have spent on trying to get healthy should really help with that).  Once I get this weight off and my lean and fit 1 year membership is done I will probably stick with stuff at home and doing my original bootcamp (strength training class).  We will see though what happens with lean and fit...I think I like the style of the class and this time I am not minding the number of participants in the class.

Something else that I am doing different this time is that I will take monthly progress pics.  I did my starting pics and I did a front view, side and back.  It will be interesting to see if I notice any difference after a month.  

I am hoping to get 4 lean and fit classes in this week and 1 at my other place.  I work on the weekend so if my treadmill is here and set up I will do some of the running program  before work.  I am hoping on weekdays that I work days that I will be able to get to the lean and fit classes before work.  I will bring stuff to shower after (if I have time).  I just need to figure out the shortest route to work.  I will have to suck it up and realize that I won't be as early as I normally am.  as long as I am there 10 min before starting work that should be ok.  

I am making some to do lists as my house is a mess and I need to get it cleaned up and organized and keep it that way.  It does stress me out but no one else is going to fix it so i  need to fix it myself.  I need to stop spending so much time on the computer and my phone and use that time to be productive  around the house.  I know this will make me really better and for everyone else they will like having a clean house everyday.  I need to stop doing the talk and actually work on achieving this goal that I have.

Speaking of cleaning the house I just want to finish  my coffee and do a few things before trying to have a nap (I am only working 1 night so maybe I won't even worry about the nap...I would rather get some chores done around the house).  On my days off I need to really work on getting my house organized.  I will give an update next weekend on how that goes :)
