I can't believe that I made it through my set at work without falling off the wagon. That is such a huge accomplishment for me. Now just to make it through the 6 days of being away. I will just need to make sure that I have lots of healthy options for myself and that i remember to avoid all trigger foods as they make me slip into a very unhealthy state of mind (which I do not want to be in again). It really helped to that I wasn't really thinking what I was going to eat each day but that I had everything ready to go and just had to grab. I am a big believer in menu planning and meal prep!!!
I just sent an e-mail to drop down to the 5K race instead of the 10K on the 31st. I know i won't be ready for the 10K and just need to build up for the 5K. I will start doing more running tomorrow (which will be hard when I am away but I will make it happen). I will be going to Jills tomorrow and then it will be over a week before I am back. I will need to try and do some stuff when we are away.
I need to make a list of stuff I want to get done over the next 2 days before we leave. I want a relatively clean house when we come back. I will make a reasonable to do list so I won't feel overwhelmed. I will need to head to the mall too and get myself some fall clothes as I don't really have much. I am still wearing flip flops so I may get myself some type of shoes to wear down there.
When we get back from our trip I will be doing more reading on the cleanse that I will be doing for 4 weeks. I don't think I really have anything planned (except the hockey fundraiser) so I should be able to stick to it almost 100% (provided there aren't too many weird dishes….I am sure I will have to make some substitutions when it comes to veggies and fish).
Well I should get going and make my to do list and maybe start working on it.
