I am skipping bootcamp this week so that I don't have any really sore muscles when I run my half marathon on saturday. I went for an 8K run this morning after I dropped my son off at school. I was so impressed with myself. I ran the entire 8K. I have been writting about how I have been taking walk breaks but I kept giving myself positive talk and was able to do it. I did have to stop at 2 stop lights and wait for the walk sign but I also stopped my garmin so I would actually run the 8K. I am not sure how many days off I am going to take but I have promised myself to keep my mileage up from now on. I really don't want along run to ever fall under 10K again!!!
Eating has been a bit of a struggle but it is better then it had been. I need to remind myself that the trip to vegas will be here before we know it and I want to enjoy myself and not be worried about feeling frumpy.
I have had the soup that I made on the weekend for supper my 2 days at work and it tasted so yummy. It is the maui black bean soup from one of the eat clean diet cookbooks. For my lunches I went to the cafeteria at work and had salads. They tasted so good too.
I need to be perfect these 2 days since I am supposed to go get weighed again on friday. I am going to make myself go even if I think it will be a gain!!
