So I ventured out around 8 am for my long run. I did ok but had quite a few walk breaks in there. I need to get more psycologically prepared for my long runs. I know I can push myself harder but haven't been doing that. I will promise myself I will do better the next 3 long runs and then really get pumped for my race. I will be honest and say that the number I saw on the scale this morning really shows me that I can get back to my healthy weight if I focus on it and make healthy choices. I have a few recipes that I want to try for suppers for work and I want to make a few soups to take to work for my lunches. I am going to buy a few things for salads for this week when I am at home as for some reason that is what I am really craving right now.
I have been doing so awesome with tracking what I have been eating and I must say after my 2 day shifts I did not come home and go crazy with snacking. I had one planned snack and that was it. I do really want to work on that and make some different chocies for those snacks. I know that I mentioned my yogurt, cereal and fruit choice but I am thinking that veggies and hummus would be a great choices too.
For my suppers at work I am going to make stirfry again. This time I will make it with chicken. I loved having it the other night and it will be perfect and easy for work. It doesn't take anytime really to make and it tastes so good.
I am excited to have mon-fri off this week and really have so much that I want to do. I need to limit my computer time and focus on organizing and cleaning my house.
Have a great saturday. Will be heading for a nap soon to prepare for my night shift. I am thinking around 1pm would be a good time and maybe stay in bed until 3:30 and then get to the grocery store to pick up a few things.
