Up early this morning (not as early as it should have been) for a 5K run. Tomorrow morning is going to be the big run (14K) so I really need to make sure that I get up and out the door on time. We are having some people over tomorrow afternoon so I need to make sure that I have lots of time in the morning to get ready.
I bought a new book today based on suggestions from the blog http://www.pbfingers.com/2011/09/02/odd-english-muffin-habit/ I am going to try and start reading it tonight at bedtime. That is when I will try and do my reading is before bed. I will try and do 1/2 hr of reading just to get settled for the night. I went so long without reading that I am getting excited about reading again.
This is what my day looks like in the way of food
Breakfast: protein pancake with 1tbsp of peanut butter and 1/2 banana
Lunch: turkey burger with carrots and pineapple
snack: kashi bar
Supper: chicken, sweet potato and salad
snack: apple and peanut butter
I find the afternoons so hard that I need to stay focused. I really have so many things that I can do that I should not eat out of boredom at all. I just need to get off my butt and do the chores that need to be done.
On that note I will sign off and putter around the house.
