now a 6 week challenge

Wow, just 6 weeks now. I really need to get things going in the eating healthy department for many reasons but really 6 weeks until I will be practically living in a swimsuit for a week. Must get this body beach ready and fast. I won't do anything crazy but will continue to exercise pretty much every day (may do extra ab work and make sure that I do weight training too) and eat clean. I am going to go through my clean eating magazines and cut out the samples of the menus to just get an idea of the combinations of foods that I should be having for my meals and snacks. I pretty much know what I have to do but to have those samples to quickly look at will be helpful. I will make sure to always have healthy food options available to me too. I am making a double batch of chili today and making the kasha breakfast pudding too. I will try and get some clean recipe ideas today and add the items to the grocery list (must get groceries on thurs...hope to have enough food until then).

The good news to start my week 1 off is that I go back to work tomorrow. I tend to do a bit better when I am working. I won't have food to eat when i get home after my nights. I will try and just eat what is in my cooler on nights which means I will have to have lots of options. I will go to hot yoga after working my days and will get up and run before heading in on days (unless the weather is really crazy). I found bootcamp hard this morning and it made me realize that I am letting myself go and I need to reign the ropes back in quickly. It is amazing how quickly things can fall apart if you lose your focus on what is truly important which is being healthy.

I am going to go to hot yoga at noon today. I ate pretty good yesterday but I still feel like I have some crap left in my body from friday so it will be nice to sweat it out :) I told my husband yesterday that if I was going to sign up for yoga that I need to take better care of my body with the food consumption. I remember when I lived by this "I wouldn't put crap gas into my car so why do it too my body!!!" MUST REMEMBER THIS!!
