Here we go with the 2nd part of my 10 week challenge...to stay OP and eat mostly clean for the entire month. Last night I had a bit of a slip in the evening after I blogged. I should have just gone to bed. I really need to go to bed earlier then I have been. My eating seems to happen a lot in the evenings when I am tired and just sitting around. Go to bed or do less sitting around in the evenings!!! My husband was so awesome this morning. I woke up being a bitch and he told me to go to the gym. I wasn't going to go but finally I did and am so happy that I did :) I did 45 min on the treadmill. 5 min warm up 30 min run (4.8KM) 5 min at 4.0 for walking and then a 5 min cool down. I need to just suck it up and go to the gym in the early mornings until the roads are better for running outside. i know that if I stick to this for a month my motivation will peak again and it really needs to so I can be one of the hot chicks on the beach in punta cana ;)
I had a nice bowl of oatmeal this morning. I have been trying to find some Kefir but I am thinking that we are having some issues getting it in to the hamilton area this week. I will just use the rest of my almond milk for the recipe I am going to make and hopefully the recipe will turn out or I will wait until friday to make it. i do have a box of go lean crunch that I can take to work the next 2 days. I am going to try and cut back a bit on my peanut butter consumption. Once I get my kasha breakfast pudding made then I will try and have it just once a day ; we will se how that goes.
I had a look at the showers at the gym this morning before I left and I think that with some flip flops I will be able to do the whole shower thing before going to work. I need to remember that it will be just 2 days/week and sometimes not even that. Gym showers kind of gross me out but sometimes you just have to suck it up. Working out is important to me right now so unless I want to go to work a sweaty, stinky mess I will do the shower thing. I will let you all know how that goes ;)
I am hoping to get the rest of the laundry done today. with being sick I did not get the house work done that I wanted to get done. I will focus on the laundry and kitchen/dinning room and maybe do the bathroom when K takes the kids to his parents tonight.
I really need to get my act together!!!!
