Week 1 results

I had a full week of eating healthy and getting in some exercise and it felt great.  I ended the week with a 7K run which was very tough.  Doing a longer run after my 2nd night is bound to be tough.  Thankfully the way things work out next week I will have a 9K run on sunday which means I will do it when I get up in the morning just like a regular day which hopefully will make for a better run.  Tomorrow I am hoping to get up early and go to the gym.  In order to try and do this I will head to bed at 9.  I will have to get up at 5:30 if I want to go to the gym and be back before my husband has to go to work.

So the results on the scale for week one is a loss of 6.4 lbs :)  That made me feel very happy.  I have a goal in mind for my WI next sunday but really as long as I can get through my 2nd week of eating healthy and tracking will make me feel great.  I haven't had 2 weeks of being on track for a very long time.  I am hoping the fact that I have my menu made for the week will be helpful.

Tomorrow I am going to do some house work and then get my groceries and have my meals made for the week.  This is very helpful for me to stay on track.  When your foods are all made in advance it is so much easier to avoid picking while cooking your foods because all I have to do is reheat my foods.  There is a lot of prep in doing this but if it leads to positive results it is so worth it.  I so would love to be in the 150's for when we go on our cruise.  I know that if I keep this up I will be able to do it.

Well here is to a healthy week and making smart choices and good use of my 3 days off.
