I was so happy that I was able to run 5K this morning without any knee pain :) Very happy about that. I did a lot of stretching and iced my knee when I came home. I will use the foam roller at some point today.
I am excited for tomorrow. I am going to try Hot Yoga for the first time. Not only is it my first time doing hot yoga but my first time doing yoga. Should be interesting. I sure hope that I like it. I know that it will be benefical to me as a runner so I really want to like it :)
Last evening I did change up my menu plan a bit. I had my oatmeal snack in the evening. The good thing that I did was used portion control with it.
I had steel cut oats for breakfast this morning so I will try and avoid having oatmeal has a snack tonight. I really need to come up with some options. Maybe I will try something with an apple heated with some greek yogurt and go lean crunch. add a bit of cinnaomon and nutmeg to the mix. I am pretty sure I saw that on another blog so I will search for that while I finish my coffee.
I am feeling quite motivated right now and I really hope that I can stay motivated. I am pumped about having different activities lined up and I just hope I can stick to it and catch on to it. I am sure if I figure out how to do everything, sticking with it should not be a challenge. I so want to get my summer and fall body back :)
I really am going to have to work hard on the eating end of things. Like I said yesterday i am going to go to WW on saturday and go from there. I am going to do weekly wi's again to be accountable. When I get to my goal I am going to see if it is ok to continue doing weekly wi's. It is nice to be not just accountable to yourself but to others too.
We have someone coming this afternoon to mud and tape the basement bathroom, finally!!!! I will be so happy when that part of our reno's is done. I hate having unfinished projects.
Have some stuff to do today and I am going to try hard to get it done. Have a great day.
