Well I had my physio appt. I will be seen 5 more times in the next 2 weeks. I was told that I should take a week off from running but after that week I will start up again and see how far I can run before the pain or if the pain comes back so we can see what else might be triggering the pain. It is actually my rt IT band that is tight so I find that so weird that my pain is on the left knee but usually that is how things go since my left is probably taking more of a hit then the right. I had accupuncture for my glutes and down the outer/upper part of my legs. Very cool with the TENS machine connected ;) I never was one for accupuncture until I had my neck/upper back injury in 2009. I was given some stretches too which I will do faithfully since I am so dedicated to my running and running pain free.
I am working tonight so I am hoping to get a nap. The only way that will happen is if my wonderful hubby picks the kids up from school. Just waiting to hear back from him if that will happen. If not I will hopefully be able to get the kids to play some video games while I try to nap. I know it is not good to have video games as a distraction for the kids so I can sleep but I need sleep since I will be up all night and have been up since 5:15 am.
I am making the turkey jacket sweet potato to take to work for supper tonight. I so enjoyed that last night. I was going to make some chili but will wait until wed or thurs to make it.
