A snowy run

I am so happy with what I did this morning. i got up and ran 9K in the snow. nothing like having snow hit your face (it would have been better had the snow been fluffy). I had no knee pain :) I am sure that I could have done a full 10K but the road conditions were not the best. I opted not to go into the city to go to body pump :( I am thinking that on days that i do long runs that may not be the best time do do it. I may try to hit up the 915 class on wed after getting off work. I know that I should be home sleeping but I will sleep after my workout. I just hope that I am able to get at least 5 hrs which means that I will be sleeping much later then I normally do, but I am ok with that.

I am tyring to come up with some meal ideas. A bit of a struggle. I will put more thought into it when making my big grocery list on thursday.

Tomorrow is my 1st day back so I am using it as a rest day. On mon morning I am going to try and hit up the gym and do my 1st interval training on the treadmill. It seems like a great 45 min workout and one that I will be able to do. The thing about doing interval training is it makes running on the treadmill a bit more interesting :) Not to happy about taking a shower at the gym but I know that I will have to since I really don't want to go to work all sweaty. Just need to remember to bring some flip flops to protect my feet from the germy gym floors.

Well I need to make sure I have my list done and soon I will be having my lunch. then i will be heading out in the crappy weather to get some groceries.

Oh yeah today is day 2 of a challenge for myself. Not only am I challenging myself to get back on the healthy eating wagon but I want to have my body beach ready for our trip south in april. I will post more on that tonight as i unwind before going to bed.
